Fit For You Circuit Styles - Kid Friendly

What is it?  Exercise stations are set up to challenge your strength, cardiovascular systems, and flexibility. If you don't like that exercises, don't worry! You only have to do it once and then off to the next. Perfect for the person on the go who wants to get their workout done in just 45 minutes. Class is suitable for all fitness levels. Children of all ages are welcome.

When? Monday evenings 6:30pm (45 minute class) starting September 24, 2018


Total Body Fitness

What is it? Every part of your body gets some love in this "choose the right fit for you body" class. All fitness levels are welcome as strength, cardio, and core exercises are combined in an interval style format. 

When? Monday evenings 7:30pm (1 hour class) starting September 24, 2018


Your first class is FREE. Multi-class passes available.

Membership to ANY City of Edmonton community league is required for all classes.

It was so great to have Kaitlin McLaughlin RMT part of the festivities on Saturday at Meadowlark's Party in the Park. 
She offered free chair massage to people at the party to promote health and wellness in the community. She had the pleasure of treating over 20 community members between 5pm and 8:30pm. 
Kaitlin is a registed massage therapist with over 10 years of practice and graduated the 2200h Massage Therapy course at Grant Macewan. She offer therapeutic massage, deep tissue, sports massage,lymphatic drainage,  cranial sacral, cupping and pre and post natal massage out of her home clinic in Meadowlark. 10 week Fall program runs Wednesday Starting again on October 10th 

 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm 

Meadowlark Community Hall (15961 92 Ave.)

 All adults welcome!  We recognize that as we age our bodies change too.  This just means we need to approach our yoga practice from a deeper and wiser perspective.  

Vera will guide you through some gentle asanas (postures) and will provide adjustments as needed.  

Our yoga practice will focus on using our breath with gentle movement.   

We will also use the roll model method balls to improve mobility, to restore and revitalize the body.  

We will start the class with a gentle warm up connecting to our breath, then follow with some more active postures and also some rolling, finishing with a nice guided savasana at the end of class.
